Old Dickey Rennicks On the Left.

Richard Rennicks was born in Ardbraccan Co Meath. He had 4 brothers and one sister Mary. William,Arthur,Sam,Tom. These men were all stonecutters. Richard trained on the quarry in Ardbraccan with his father old Attie Rennicks and then moved to Cavan to meet a women from Athlone called Catherine Flynn. Were he married in 1906. He had to change his name to Rennix because of his surname was church of Ireland. The Priest wouldn't marry the couple over this. He passed away in the 1970s and is buried in Mount Nugent in Cavan.
